1) PAY CLOSE ATTENTION NOT TO OPEN THE STIRRUP OR FORCE THE MOVING PART DURING REPLACEMENT OPERATIONS! There is a risk of compromising the safety mechanism.
2) Turn the stirrup upside-down; using a screwdriver, unscrew all the 6 screws fixed under the tread.
3) Once all the screws have been unscrewed, you will be able to easily remove the grip plate from its slot.
4) Replace the pad with the new one, inserting it in the its housing, then secure it by putting back all the 6 screws under the tread, fixing them with a screwdriver.
