Refund and Returns Policy
This Refund and Returns Policy explains how consumers may exercise their statutory right of withdrawal and how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled for purchases made through the Tech Stirrups online shop.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law, including the legal guarantee of conformity and the right of withdrawal for distance contracts.
1. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and you purchase online, you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days.
For goods, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party appointed by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. For multiple goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last good.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires. You may do this by using the online withdrawal function available through the button above.
2. Online withdrawal function
To make exercising the right of withdrawal simple and traceable, Tech Stirrups provides an online withdrawal function that is clearly visible and accessible during the withdrawal period.
By selecting “Recede from the contract here”, you will be directed to the dedicated withdrawal form. The form will ask you to provide the information needed to identify your order and process your request, including your name, order number, the product or products concerned, and the electronic contact details where you wish to receive the confirmation.
After completing the form, you will be asked to submit your request by using a clearly marked confirmation function, such as “Confirm withdrawal”. Once the confirmation is submitted, we will send you, without undue delay and on a durable medium such as email, an acknowledgement of receipt containing the content of your withdrawal request and the date and time of transmission.
Your withdrawal is considered exercised within the deadline if the online withdrawal statement is transmitted before the withdrawal period expires.
3. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods concerned, including the standard delivery costs paid for the initial shipment, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.
The reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
4. Returning the goods after withdrawal
After exercising your right of withdrawal, you must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

Unless otherwise stated during the purchase process or required by applicable law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply, or may cease to apply, in the cases provided by applicable consumer law. These may include, for example, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery, or other statutory exceptions.
If an exception applies to a specific product, this will be indicated before you complete the purchase.
6. Voluntary 30-day returns
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal described above, Tech Stirrups may accept voluntary returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that the item is unused, undamaged, complete, and returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible.
This voluntary return policy does not replace or restrict your statutory rights. If the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the legal rules in sections 1 to 5 will prevail.
7. Exchanges
If you receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged item, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, refund, or other remedy available under applicable law.
The legal guarantee of conformity remains unaffected by this policy.
8. Sale and discounted items
Sale or discounted items are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items, including the right of withdrawal where applicable and the legal guarantee of conformity.
9. Refund timing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Depending on your payment provider or bank, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear on your account.
10. Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift, the refund will normally be issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method, unless applicable law or a separate agreement requires otherwise.
